This Short Course focuses on the fundamentals of hypnosis and how to apply them to birthing. This is not a full childbirth education class. To receive a full childbirth education, which includes hypnosis fundamentals and advanced applications of hypnosis for releasing fear and creating anesthesia please enroll in the standard program course of study. In hypnosis you learn to access your subconscious mind; that suggestible, powerful part of your brain where real, lasting changes are made. When you practice what you’ve learned in class, you’ll be able to use hypnosis to reprogram your mind in a positive way to release fears and doubts and to replace negativity with confidence and calm.
This class is best suited for moms who have taken a hospital childbirth education class, or undertaken a self-study program, read a hypnobirthing book, and now seek guided practice to apply the principles. If you are a regular meditator you may also find this course helpful in applying the ability to go deeply into relaxation to child birthing.
